# Pagoda Data Platform Team Introduces NEAR Query API Public Preview. We are excited to announce the Public Preview version of NEAR Query API, a fully managed serverless infrastructure offering NEAR blockchain #indexers, storage, and GraphQL endpoints. Developers can now build indexers for any smart contract using JavaScript and the [NEAR Lake Primitives library](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@near-lake/primitives), and store data in custom SQL schemas all without the need of managing any infrastructure. This approach significantly simplifies the way developers interact with blockchain data and empowers them to build #BOS applications with great user experience. NEAR Query API allows developers to store indexer code on-chain and receive an auto-provisioned database with GraphQL API and indexed historical data, continuously updated through an indexer service that closely tracks the blockchain. The GraphQL API supports paginated and aggregate queries such as `count`, `avg`, `min`, etc. It also enables subscriptions through web sockets, streamlining the creation of BOS components that load much quicker and can even be updated without page refresh. ## Sample Indexers Additionally, we are introducing several sample indexers: - A [social feed indexer](https://near.org/dataplatform.near/widget/QueryApi.App?selectedIndexerPath=dataplatform.near/social_feed&view=editor-window) for posts, likes, and comments with a corresponding [component](https://near.org/dataplatform.near/widget/QueryApi.Feed). - A [BOS component indexer](https://near.org/dataplatform.near/widget/QueryApi.App?selectedIndexerPath=roshaan.near/widget-activity-feed&view=editor-window) with a [widget feed](https://near.org/roshaan.near/widget/query-api-widget-feed) that updates automatically with every commit. ## User Interface The NEAR Query API’s [user-friendly interface](https://near.org/dataplatform.near/widget/QueryApi.App), built using BOS components, provides easy access to all indexers and key features of the platform that streamline the process of building indexers: - Access to all indexers built on our platform. Developers can learn from practical examples as indexers’ code is stored on-chain. - Online code editing with autocomplete feature for efficient development. - In-browser debugging of indexer on any block, integrated into the browser console for a familiar debugging experience. - Developers can explore and build GraphQL queries effortlessly using the GraphiQL playground and leverage auto-generated JSX code for swift component development. - Historical indexing feature enables developers to start indexing from any block. - Monitoring of indexer status and accessing logs written from your JavaScript code. ## Video Walkthrough To provide further insights into the capabilities of the NEAR Query API, we have prepared a walkthrough video, presented by @roshaan.near.
