# My January sprint cc @marmajgaming.near ## Done: * **Gaming DAO funding**: Applied for the [Gaming DAO grant for Febuary](https://gov.near.org/t/approved-marma-j-gaming-dao/37647), we will be using the funds to redefine the player experience in MJG through the following milestones: * Replacing hardcoded near.org wallet with MyNearWallet to fix issues related to the shutdown of the near.org wallet for the games * Migrating Pixelpets to BOS * Migrating Cryptoheroes to BOS * Detailed dev documentation to contribute to the project + a few bounties for contribution * **Onboarded the new dev with @chloe.near**: @deanealex.near (Game Developer) a former website designer from Foxlio in React and Node Js and Game Designer who worked on a few Metaverse startups using Unity, who will be lead on achieving the milestones stated earlier. * **Published a recap of MJG activities in 2023**: In 2023, we laid the foundation for a decentralized gaming hub, publishing game guides, hosting events, and embracing community collaboration. Recent highlights include smart contract implementations, and transitioning to BOS for game front-ends.
