Please feel free to reachout to me if you have any questions. ### Current State - **Development and Deployment:** We built Jutsu WebIDE as a specialized tool for BOS component development. - **User Engagement:** In 2023, we onboarded 647 developers to Jutsu who have deployed a total of 6651 components. - **Hackathon Participation:** Many developers like using Jutsu at hackathons, such as NEAR Vietnam and NEARCON, because it's easy to use and works well, especially for those new to NEAR and BOS. ### Problem - Although the idea of Jutsu is to build a profitable company, we found it extremely difficult to build a profitable company around NEAR BOS devtools at this moment. This has prompted a reevaluation of our approach. - We would love to continue maintaining and building new features for the Jutsu WebIDE for everyone, but it will be impossible to do so unless we receive financial support from the NEAR community (near/dev/hub). ### Solution Here is our plan with Jutsu WebIDE: - Open source the WebIDE Core - Improve developer onboarding experience for hackathons - Maintain and support new VM versions update - Implement top community-requested features in 2024 ### Roadmap (Features requested by community) #### Q1 (January - March) - Implement auto-complete functionality for NEAR Social, near-sdk-js and other core libraries - Create a keyboard shortcut for searching components (ex: Cmd + S) - View source when the user clicks “.” in a component inside the Jutsu gateway (Inspire by GitHub) - Import and export BOS components for the local development environment - Import and export BOS components in GitHub - Collaborative Editing - Real-time collaboration with other developers #### Q2 (April - June) - Persist the component search query so that when developers switch tabs and come back they get the same search result - Upload, use and manage styled files in IPFS from Jutus WebIDE - Improve developer onboarding - When creating an account developer will get a small amount ($0.5 N) so that they can deploy a few components for free. - Implement “Right-click” and deploy multiple components at once - Improve and complete the Pull-Request flow - ChatGPT/co-pilote integration inside Jutsu WebIDE #### Q3 (July - September) - Developers should be able to switch between near accounts without login - Components similarity search - Show similar components when a developer selects a component in the search page - Improve Dev profile to work as proof-of-dev - TBD - Community Requested Features - TBD - Community Requested Features - TBD - Community Requested Features #### Q4 (October - December) - Landing page/code generator - Solidity contract Application Binary Interface (ABI) to User Interface (UI) generator - TBD - Community Requested Features - TBD - Community Requested Features - TBD - Community Requested Features - TBD - Community Requested Features > Please feel free to request features that will enhance developer experince. ### Requested Funding - **Total Amount:** $150,000 USD - **Duration:** 12 months > We will use this fund to build community requested feateurs focus twards **NEW DEVELOPERS**.
