From refactoring how I handle links in the navbar to fetching projects via social api, and a new form for project submission. ## Overall experience The general experience with BOS-Loader is much better since I fixed folder navigation on windows which makes the organization so much easier since I can use folders instead of pascal case files in single folder. I added some little tweaks here and there to improve the overall general feel of the website. ## Navbar to .map((nav) => bar)? This week one of the major works I did was to remove the hard coded links in the navbar to use a single JSON object to parse links for both desktop and mobile. This is a huge change as it allows me to easily change links in navbar easily. ## Fetching Projects via Social API Elliot helped setup the curation project workflow which is still work in progress. I quickly implemented it and allowed the homepage to fetch the featured projects so it reflects changes from project review board. There is still work that needs to be done but this is a step in right direction. ## New hybrid project submission form This is something I came up with after experiencing slowdowns in performance when using nearhorizon's form. It was extremely slow. So I wondered if I can create apps with a mix of both react and BOS widgets. This worked extremely well as I can quickly create apps with all kinds of node packages and tools available at my disposal to create the best version of apps I can. Now I'm waiting for manza to create the project submission widget (button that sends data to social api).
