@minhvo0o.near [Posted on DevHub](https://near.social/#/devgovgigs.near/widget/Post?id=1249) ## Solution: BOSHACKS Submission: CopyUI ### The problem CopyUI solves **For Near Community (in specific)** - It is frustrating to encounter error components or specific-use components that we do not need for our personal projects. - It is time-consuming to look for every component until we see what we need. - It is headache-inducing to sift through the multitude of UI frameworks online, buried under heavy documentation. **For Web Developers (in general)** For anyone who already understands Bootstrap (the code used in CopyUI), it is better - to copy and paste its components quickly, skipping the hassle of scrolling through extensive documentation. - to skim through components and copy/paste directly, eliminating the need to search each component on Google just to know its name. - to accelerate your workflow with a quick, simple, and highly customizable tool, CopyUI, optimizing your development process by swiftly selecting and incorporating components into your projects. ### Inspiration Taking inspiration from Near Components Marketplace and all Web2 UI frameworks like Bootstrap, Tailwind, MUI,... I wonder if I could combine them all together and make a Web3 UI library. ### What it does Inspired by that idea, this is what CopyUI will do: - It searches the components. - It shows the component to copy the code. - It filters by libraries. - It allows developers to publish components. - It shows the component's publisher. - It allows developers to upvote/downvote useful components. ### How I built it For the Code Challenge, I present an MVP of CopyUI using React + Bootstrap. I built it by NearBOS's Testnet and Jutsu.ai. ### Challenges I ran into **Community Building** Attracting and fostering an active user and developer community was a continuous effort. Building trust and engagement in the early stages was challenging but crucial for the platform's success. **Usability** Ensuring that CopyUI remains user-friendly and intuitive was a priority. I faced design and usability challenges to make complex Web3 interactions accessible to a wide range of users. ### Accomplishments that I'm proud of Despite the challenges, I'm proud of several accomplishments: - MVP Delivery: Successfully delivering an MVP of CopyUI for the Code Challenge using React + Bootstrap on NearBOS's Testnet and Jutsu.ai. - User-Centric Design: Creating a user-centric design that simplifies component discovery, encourages sharing, and supports in the community. ### What I learned During the development of CopyUI, I learned valuable lessons: - I've learned how easy it is to use NearBOS for UI building. Then, I realized what the potential could be in the Near future. - Give a big thanks to Mr. Cuong, who advised me on some ideas about this CopyUI.
