**Build City Bounty**: **Area of submission**: Housing, Transportation, and Urban Development **Identification of issue**: New York City is participating in the United Nations goal to reduce carbon emissions by 2030. The New York City Buildings Department is participating in this goal by processing an increasing number of alternative energy proposals for local structures. Regulations that pertain to these proposals are dispersed across a number of Code standards. Much of the latency comes from researching and aggregating these codes. This leads to proposals taking years to process. **Solution Presentation**: As a DOB Plan examiner I want to be able to retrieve information on regulations so that I can process proposals faster. I propose developing an AI tool. **Steps to develop this AI tool:** 1) Collect a dataset of relevant code standards for alternative energy proposals 2) Each code standard in the dataset should be labeled with the topics that it covers and the code numbers that it contains 3) Train an AI model 4) Develop a user interface on the BOS #hack #BuildCity
